Teacups

Teacups harken back to easier times when women donned white gloves and went to tea parties for a special occasion or no occasion at all.  Hard to find a pretty tearoom these days, so why not enjoy one every day with your own teacups. OR, why not use teacups in a nontraditional way.  Fill with dessert or soup or melted wax and make a candle.

These are my personal favorites with blue hydrangeas.

These teacups are simply porcelain unless otherwise noted.

These sweet blue and white have gold trim around the cups and the saucers.

These look rather regal decorated with gold and a trio of roses.

Look closely and you'll see a violin on the saucer.  These are full of flowers.

Set of four, each in a different color but with the same pattern.

A set of 4, each in a different color but all have adorable polka dots with a single flower on the cup and the saucer.

Set of 3 all of same pattern but in different colors.

These 5 teacups and saucers are vintage RS Tillowitz Palace China from Germany.

Gold rim around cup and saucer.

These 3 are marked Made in Japan and are slightly smaller than most teacups, but only slightly larger than a demitasse cup.

Can't be tea without a teapot.
